No. To create a video DVD, use iDVD.
can you use the burn folder to take movies off of your mac and then be able to watch them on a dvd player?
The extension is right, but usually it is invisible. If it still works, don’t worry about it.
Hey! nice video!
I wanna ask u something… maybe u can help me (i hope so!)
I was trying to burn a cd then i cancelled the process but now everytime i put a blank cd it shows up with .fpbf file extension. (“untitled CD.fpbf”)
What can i do to fix it?
Smart Folders are like searches that you save. Different than “burn folders” which are what this episode is about. Using a burn folder with aliases like I suggest is different than TM in so many ways — TM is a continuous, automatic backup of your entire hard drive that makes it easy to restore a single file or your entire drive. A burn folder with aliases would allow you to make very selective periodic archives. It is no substitute.
I don’t understand what Smart Folders are supposed to do.
Is the burning CDs process an alternative version to having Time Machine? It sounds the same, especially if you can update files, text, spreadsheets, etc.
good video :]
yeah but theres really not much point in making aliases of stuff unless you have alot of folders inside of eachother and its hard to find stuff on your computer (like me)
cool video
