Is there a way to copyright a CD that im going to burn?

I want to burn a CD with multiple songs on it, im using a regular CD-R cd and burning it as a music CD not an MP3 or Data Disk … Is there a program that will allow me to password protect it so it cannot be viewed by a computer without a password? Or copyright it or something? That way my CD cannot be copied or have songs taken off from it?

Music record labels have been trying to do this for years. Problem with that is, it makes the data unreadable as well.

    Copyright?

You can’t copyright something that’s someone elses. That’s the wrong word.

Unless ofcourse you created those songs yourself, then they are already copyrighted by you.

However, burning it as a music CD will not allow you to password protect it. Sorry.

The only way of preventing your CD from being copied or the songs ripped is to limit access to the CD by not sharing it around. If it is playable, it is able to be copied.
