CD Way

My computer (which is running Vista) won’t detect my Sims 2 University expansion disc, so I put it on my sisters computer, and just copied the disc to my external hard drive.
That worked to start the installation, but now its asking for disc 2, which I also have. But it is looking for an actual physical disc, when I just have the files on my hard drive.
Any ideas?
